This year, Daystar will be providing the Boomsday music stage again. :)
Last year, 15 music groups from many genres took stage atop a large houseboat docked near Calhoun's. Thousands of music lovers stopped by, watched the various groups, and got comfortable as everyone waited for the main event, the gigantic Labor Day fireworks extravaganza.

Daystar Music Fest at Boomsday 2011
Wow. We are already gearing up for another installment of Daystar Music Fest. This event will be held at Boomsday 2011 and will be FREE! There is no charge to come out and enjoy great music from Knoxville and the surrounding area. Eighteen indie, up and coming bands will be live onsite, at Knoxville's Volunteer Landing waterfront, next to where Boomsday will kick off Labor Day's largest fireworks show. Last year, more than 400,000 people attended Boomsday. Daystar was there... ringside to the fireworks... with live music all day long. Thank you to the many bands and sponsors, and to the Boomsday team.

Our music lineup is already full, and it is packed with all star music. We are very excited to announce this year's music lineup for Daystar Music Fest at Boomsday. So, please, be our guest for what will be a fantastic day filled with family, friends, music, and the largest fireworks display in the nation - September 4th, 2011 @ Volunteer Landing.
